Silverstein Properties has signed a new lease with defense litigation firm Wilson Elser at US Bank Tower, the company’s 72-story office tower in Downtown Los Angeles. The agreement covers 24,416 square feet and will place the firm on the building’s entire 31st floor under a 10-year term.

Wilson Elser, founded in 1978, is described as a preeminent defense litigation firm with more than 1,400 attorneys across the United States. The firm will relocate to US Bank Tower from its current offices at 555 S. Flower St. in nearby City National Plaza, with the move planned for the third quarter.

Harlan Strader, vice president at Silverstein Properties, said the ownership is pleased to welcome Wilson Elser to US Bank Tower and noted that the lease strengthens the tower’s position as a premier address for legal services firms. Strader added that the tower’s efficient floor plates, hospitality focus and design are intended to support high-performance organizations.

Silverstein Properties was represented in-house by Strader and by a JLL team that included Jaclyn Ward, James Malone, Marin Turney and Sarah Hancock. Wilson Elser was represented by Cushman & Wakefield brokers Ryan Hoopes, Tom Sutherland and Luke Raimondo in the transaction.

The lease expands the roster of professional services tenants at US Bank Tower and illustrates ongoing law firm demand for full-floor, high-rise office space in Downtown Los Angeles. While financial terms were not disclosed, the long-term commitment and full-floor footprint signal a significant occupancy decision for both the tenant and the landmark tower.
