Seattle’s new waterfront development, **West Canal Yards**, is now open.
Designed by **Graham Baba Architects**, the project spans **334,000 square feet** and features two buildings: one measuring **132,565 square feet** and another at **48,526 square feet**. Located at **1100–1120 W. Ewing Street** in the city’s historic marine district, the development aims to revitalize the **Ship Canal in Queen Anne**.
*”West Canal Yards is where Seattleites will be able to work and play alongside the city’s working waterways, honoring the industrial nature of the site while creating a modern, vibrant environment for everyone,”* said **Howard Klein**, part-owner and one of the visionaries behind the project.
In **2019**, Klein partnered with **Unico Properties LLC**, which manages both the development and property operations. The space is designed to accommodate a mix of tenants, ranging from industrial and maritime businesses to creative and retail enterprises. The development offers **move-in-ready suites**, with amenities such as **showrooms, tasting rooms, consumer industrial spaces, ancillary offices, and flexible workspaces**.
