**Wellpointe Inc. Acquires Warner Center Site for 100% Affordable Housing Development**

Wellpointe Inc., through a property-holding affiliate, has acquired a 4.71-acre site located at 6400 Canoga Avenue in Woodland Hills. This acquisition marks a significant step in the company’s plan to develop a 100% affordable, mixed-use housing community in Warner Center, a rapidly transforming area within the San Fernando Valley.

Previously owned by Sandstone Properties, the site had been tied to ambitious plans for a 650-unit, 35-story market-rate apartment tower and a four-story, 240-key luxury hotel. Wellpointe’s acquisition signals a strategic pivot toward an entirely different approach focused on affordability and community-driven development.
