Walker & Dunlop Secures $27.2M in HUD Financing for Assisted Living Facilities in Oregon and Washington

Walker & Dunlop has successfully secured two HUD loans totaling $27.2 million to refinance assisted living communities in Oregon and Washington.

The financing was arranged by Walker & Dunlop’s Capital Markets team, led by Kevin Giusti, Daniel Barone, Tony Cassie, and Sam Thompson. The team utilized HUD Section 232/223(f) loan programs to complete the transactions.

The loans support two senior living properties:

– Battle Creek in Salem, Oregon: Located at 1805 Waln Dr. SE, Battle Creek is a residential community specializing in memory care. Walker & Dunlop arranged a fixed-rate loan of $16.67 million on behalf of the property owner, Onelife Investments.

– Liberty Shores Senior Living in Poulsbo, Washington: Situated at 19360 Viking Avenue NW, this property offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care services. Walker & Dunlop facilitated a $10.61 million loan for Northwest Care Senior Living. The proceeds will be used to refinance existing debt, reimburse the owner for past capital expenditures, and fund additional property improvements.
