US Cabinet Depot, a leading distributor of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, has recently secured a lease for 194,400 square feet in North Richmond Industrial Park located in Richmond, VA. The company will be occupying a state-of-the-art industrial building spanning over 315,900 square feet at the address of 12063 Washington Highway this summer. This move leaves approximately 122,000 square feet available for occupancy in the Phase II section of the park which is currently leased at an impressive rate of 62%.
The leasing deal was brokered by JLL’s Jimmy Appich and Muscoe Garnett on behalf of MacKenzie Investment Group while CBRE’s Jason Hetherington , Brad Lowry , and Doug Tice represented US Cabinet Depot. With plans to utilize this facility as their distribution and logistics center to cater to East Coast customers’ needs efficiently; US Cabinet Depot is expected to employ more than sixty individuals.
Strategically situated just twenty miles north from downtown Richmond with easy access to major highways; this cross-docked distribution center boasts impressive features such as clear heights reaching up-to thirty-six-feet along with seventy-eight dock doors providing ample parking space for trailers & cars alike on either side. “Our cross-dock facility has been designed keeping maximum efficiency in mind while also catering well towards multi-tenant occupancy,” stated Gavin Gill – Director at MacKenzie Investment Group .
