**TruAmerica Multifamily Acquires Seattle and Phoenix Apartment Communities**
TruAmerica Multifamily has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of two apartment communities, including Archstone Redmond Lakeview in the Seattle metropolitan area.
The transaction was facilitated by CBRE’s Eli Hanacek, Kyle Yamamoto, and Mark Washington. In addition to the Seattle-area property, TruAmerica also acquired Park Tower Apartments & Townhomes, located in the Phoenix metro area. Combined, the two acquisitions total 423 units and further strengthen the firm’s presence in both the Pacific Northwest and Southwest regions.
Archstone Redmond Lakeview is a lakefront, garden-style community located directly on Lake Sammamish. It is one of only seven multifamily properties in the Seattle metropolitan area with actual waterfront access, and the only one to offer direct transit access to a future light rail station. The 166-unit property is also strategically positioned near major tech employers such as Amazon, Google, Meta, and Microsoft’s expanding global headquarters, which is located less than a mile away.
Originally built in 1987, the property is set to undergo a value-add renovation strategy involving condo-quality upgrades across all residences. Following the improvements, TruAmerica will rebrand the community as The Docks at Redmond Lakeview.
