Menlo Equities and Beacon Capital Partners have broken ground on Portal 405, a 240,000-square-foot life science building in the burgeoning life science market of San Carlos. Located at 405 Industrial Rd. alongside Highway 101, the six-story building is slated for completion in late 2024 and will be within walking distance of the San Carlos Caltrain Station and downtown area.

Designed with flexibility in mind, Portal 405 is right sized for a single tenant’s headquarters location or can accommodate multiple tenants with its expansive floorplates and flexible core according to Menlo Equities’ Managing Partner Rick Holmstrom: “San Carlos is an important and prominent life science hub, so we look forward to complementing this ecosystem with our new state-of-the art facility that will attract forward thinking users.”
