**ThinKom Expands and Renews Industrial Lease at Hawthorne’s Oceangate Business Park**
ThinKom Solutions has signed an expansion and early renewal lease for over 128,000 square feet of flex and industrial space at Oceangate Business Park in Hawthorne, California. The deal includes an additional 54,308 square feet at 4910 Rosecrans Avenue, adding to the company’s existing 74,000+ square feet at 4881 West 145th Street.
The lease was negotiated by Avison Young principal Mark Mattis, who represented ThinKom in the 10-year agreement.
ThinKom Solutions, a privately owned company, designs and manufactures advanced satellite communication antennas used in aviation, military, gateway, satellite, and terrestrial mobility sectors. This expanded lease will support the company’s headquarters, along with its light manufacturing, assembly, and testing operations.
“If you use broadband on a commercial flight, there is a good chance that data is being received by one of ThinKom’s antennas mounted on the plane,” said Mattis. “ThinKom is expanding both its commercial and defense lines of business and therefore needed the additional space within the Hawthorne location.”
Oceangate Business Park is a 383,000-square-foot property located in the heart of Los Angeles County, strategically positioned to support the region’s growing demand for high-tech manufacturing and innovation.
