**SVN Chicago Closes $2.74M Sale of Mixed-Use Building in Ukrainian Village**

SVN Chicago Commercial has announced the successful sale of a fully rehabilitated mixed-use corner property located at 1859 W. Chicago Avenue in Chicago’s Ukrainian Village neighborhood. The 9,267-square-foot building changed hands for $2.74 million.

Lead brokers Drew Dillon and Scott Maesel of SVN Chicago Commercial represented both the buyer and the seller in the transaction, serving as the exclusive agents on the deal.

“This is a true armchair investment — fully rehabbed, stabilized, and positioned for future rent growth,” said Dillon.

The brick building features six residential apartments and a long-term retail tenant — a veterinarian office — occupying the ground floor. Strategically positioned on a signalized corner in the heart of West Town, the property offers outstanding visibility and walkability. It also benefits from its location within the Chicago Avenue Transit-Oriented Development corridor, supporting strong future appreciation potential.
