Stream Realty Partners is embarking on a major renovation project for over thirty properties located on E. Sixth Street in Austin, Texas. According to the Austin Business Journal, preliminary preservation work will commence in early January as part of this ambitious restoration effort. Stream’s goal for the district is to transform it into an all-day destination featuring local shops, live music venues, and a diverse selection of restaurants. This massive undertaking represents an investment ranging from $500 million to $750 million.

The developer plans to begin with restoring the facades and interiors of their buildings that have fallen into disrepair. The majority of interior and exterior renovations are scheduled for late first quarter or early second quarter 2024 under construction company Zapalac/Reed Construction Co., with architectural design by Clayton Korte – both based in Austin.

This exciting project marks Stream Realty Partner’s commitment towards revitalizing East Sixth Street without mentioning any specific Connect platforms such as “Connect CRE,” “Connect LA,” or “Connect Texas.”
