The Kessler Collection has closed on a $61 million refinancing deal for Casa Monica Resort & Spa, a luxury property located in the heart of St. Augustine’s Historic District. The financing package includes a holdback and completion guarantee, specifically allocated to support ongoing renovation efforts at the property.
Situated at 95 Cordova Street, Casa Monica Resort & Spa is within walking distance of several cultural landmarks, including Flagler College, the Lightner Museum, Castillo de San Marcos, and the vibrant St. George Street. The resort, part of the Autograph Collection, offers Moroccan-inspired accommodations and upscale amenities, including a full-service spa and a Mediterranean-style restaurant.
The refinancing was secured by a Berkadia Hotels & Hospitality mortgage banking team featuring Jennifer Dakin, Lindsey deButts, Katelyn Reynolds, and Jose Ison Cassab.
This transaction follows a previous $100 million refinancing completed by Berkadia and Kessler, underscoring their continued collaboration and commitment to enhancing luxury hospitality assets.
