**Riviera Beach Seeks Developers for Prime Waterfront Redevelopment**

A public agency in Riviera Beach, Florida, has issued a request for proposals (RFP) to redevelop a prime piece of beachfront property, part of the long-running Marina Village project. The 90-acre site, located at 190 E. 13th Street on the Intracoastal Waterway, already features a newly completed event center, expanded marina infrastructure, 140 boat slips, and watersports facilities.

The city envisions a public-private partnership to transform the area into a dynamic mixed-use destination, with proposed components including luxury waterfront restaurants, entertainment venues, hotel accommodations, and expanded parking. The plan also includes attracting upscale retail and office space to support revitalization within Riviera Beach’s downtown core. As part of the initiative, the city plans to maintain ownership of the land through a ground lease structure with selected developers.

Commercial real estate firm JLL has been appointed as the real estate and development advisor for the project. Interested developers must submit their proposals by November 17.

In a related development adjacent to the site, Related Group, BH Group, and Tezral Partners have announced plans for a 20-story mixed-use building at 1300 Broadway (U.S. 1). The proposed structure will offer 418 market-rate apartments along with 6,300 square feet of combined retail and office space, contributing to the broader vision of revitalizing Riviera Beach’s waterfront.
