Simon Revitalizes The Shops at Chestnut Hill in Newton, MA
Simon, a leading retail real estate investment trust (REIT), has launched a comprehensive revitalization of The Shops at Chestnut Hill, an upscale, two-level enclosed shopping center located in the Chestnut Hill area of Newton, Massachusetts. Renovation work began in early summer and is expected to be largely completed by the end of the year.
The transformation will enhance nearly every aspect of the shopping center. Planned improvements include a full interior repaint, installation of a new lighting system to brighten the main concourse, updated artwork and decor throughout the property, a refreshed indoor garden, upgraded handrails, new flooring, and substantial facade upgrades at the two main entrances. Restroom facilities will also undergo significant enhancements.
