**ShopOne Acquires First Retail Center in Texas**
ShopOne Centers REIT, in partnership with Pantheon, has acquired Beltway South, a 114,099-square-foot retail property located in Houston, Texas. This marks ShopOne’s first acquisition in the state. While the seller was not publicly disclosed, industry sources noted that the center is featured on Weitzman’s website and is currently 92% occupied.
Beltway South is anchored by a recently renovated Kroger and includes a mix of national and regional retailers. Tenants at the shopping center include Petco, CATO, Subway, State Farm, as well as various local service providers and restaurants.
Located along Beltway 8 in southeast Houston, the area benefits from a high population density and strong household income levels—key factors that contribute to the site’s retail success.
