Suntex Marinas recently acquired the highly sought-after Mariner’s Cove Marina in Gulfport for a whopping $4 million. However, this is just one of many strategic moves by the company as it sets its sights on even bigger opportunities.

Located on Boca Ciega Bay and only 10 minutes away from both the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and the Gulf of Mexico, Mariner’s Cove Marina boasts prime location with easy access to Florida Intracoastal Waterway. The marina offers top-notch amenities such as dry storage, a fueling station, fish cleaning station, all aluminum floating docks, work racks and boat fire sprinklers.

According to reports from South Florida Business Journal , The City of St. Petersburg is looking to revamp its outdated marina near St. Pete’s Pier. Suntex was among two companies that responded to this call for upgrades with an impressive proposal worth $70 million over a 30-year lease period with two renewals included. This proposal will soon be presented before Mayor and council members for approval along with another competing bid.

With approximately 60 marinas under their belt across the country – including nearly 20 in Florida alone – Suntex has established itself as an expert player in this industry.
