George Kurtz, the founder of CrowdStrike, is no stranger to ambitious projects. He recently acquired 28 acres in Scottsdale for $55 million with plans to transform it into a “transformational, sustainable mixed-use campus” called The Parque. The site plan submitted to the City of Scottsdale proposes a 2 million-square-foot project featuring 1,200 residential units through multifamily housing and condominiums; 100,000 square feet for an office building; 30,000 square feet dedicated to restaurants; 25,000 square feet allocated for retail space; 223 keys at a five star branded hotel and 92 500 sq ft of flexible space. Additionally there will be an open space “Central Park” in the middle which is described as being the focal point of The Parque.
The development team estimates that this project will bring over $1 billion worth investment into its site and consists of George Kurtz himself along with David Megdal while Nelsen Partners has been tasked as its architect .
