The sale of the SLS Brickell Hotel in Miami’s bustling Brickell neighborhood resulted in a $12 million profit for Qatari sellers. The hotel, which is part of a mixed-use tower, was purchased by 1300 Brickell Miami LLC for $55 million. According to the South Florida Business Journal, the seller was Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, a member of Qatar’s royal family.

Developed in 2016 and last traded for $43 million in 2019, this Constellation-branded hotel boasts 124 rooms and occupies over 120,000 square feet on the first nine floors of its iconic 54-story tower. Additionally, there are also residential condos above it as well as ground floor retail/restaurant space measuring at approximately4 ,530 square feet.

In addition to its prime location and luxurious accommodations,the property offers an array of amenities including indoor event space spanning over58 ,000 square feet,a pool,f itness center,and spa.The recent sale marks another successful transaction within Miami’s thriving real estate market without mentioning any specific company names or affiliations.
