The Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park has revealed its inaugural leadership team, who will oversee the operations of the historic campus situated at the former South Works site in Chicago.
This team brings a wealth of expertise and extensive research experience to their roles, where they will be responsible for managing daily activities on a campus that aims to drive economic growth, job opportunities, and community investment within the state.
Heading up this dynamic group is Harley Johnson. As Founder Professor in Mechanical Science and Engineering at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, he will serve as Director and CEO of IQMP. Joining him are Laura Appenzeller as Associate Director and Chief Operating Officer, Brian DeMarco as Associate Director and Chief Technology Officer, with Greg Feltman providing additional support as Senior Advisor to IQMP’s leadership.
Also joining this impressive lineup is Dr. Preeti Chalsani from Intersect Illinois who takes on the role of Senior Vice President & Chief Quantum Officer overseeing business development for the park.
