Branch Properties successfully secured a $55 million loan to refinance the 12-acre Peachtree Battle retail center, despite the challenges of the current lending market. The lender, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans from Wisconsin, has set a maturity date of September 2028.

In an interview with Atlanta Business Chronicle, CBRE’s Richard Henry explained why Branch was able to secure this loan while others have struggled. He cited its prime location in south Buckhead surrounded by affluent residential neighborhoods and boasting high visibility and traffic counts on Peachtree Road as key factors. Additionally, long-standing tenants with strong sales have contributed to the success of this property.

Peachtree Battle is comprised of a single strip center, Publix grocery store and several multi-story retail buildings built before 1990. With a total area of 152,951 square feet fully occupied by tenants such as CAVA and Ace Hardware along with popular upscale restaurant Roshambo.
