Portman has officially closed on the land for Meadow Glen Village, a 332-unit mid-rise multifamily development set to rise in Fairburn, Georgia. The project will include both residential and retail components, along with integrated community greenspace.

Construction on Meadow Glen Village is scheduled to begin this month, with completion expected by June 2027.

Known for its past work on infill developments in dense urban environments, Portman is shifting gears with this new suburban endeavor. “This closing represents our current strategy of quality suburban development, highlighting our team’s ability to react and adapt to market cycles,” said Harvey Wadsworth of Portman.

The community will feature nine residential buildings, each with dedicated parking. Additionally, the site will include a town green designed for public use and two 6,000-square-foot retail buildings focused on food and beverage offerings.

Portman’s residential team brings extensive experience to the project, having developed more than 20,000 residential units to date.

Meadow Glen Village represents a significant step in the firm’s evolving approach to meet changing housing demands outside major urban centers.
