Oxbow Development Group is seeking approval from a local planning agency in San Antonio for their proposed 75-unit apartment complex. The development, named Coopers Row North, will be located at 1210 E. Elmira St and will also include approximately 9,000 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor.
The Office of Historic Preservation staff has recommended approval with the condition that Oxbow coordinates with the San Antonio River Authority for river access and submits materials and mechanical equipment to staff prior to final approval. The design team includes Houston-based W Partnership and local firm Don McDonald Architects, as well as Rialto Studio as landscape architect and Pape Dawson providing civil engineering services.
Construction is slated to begin in 2024 with an expected completion date of 2026. This project has received positive feedback from the community thus far.
