Greenview Development is no stranger to Manor, having recently received approval from the town to build phase III of Manor Commons. This $71 million development could bring hundreds of thousands of square feet in stores, restaurants and hotel space to the area.
The 47-acre greenfield site at the northeast corner of Farm to Market Road 973 and U.S Route 290 will be subject preliminary site work for 18-24 months before vertical construction begins. At full buildout, this new phase is expected to increase Manor’s tax base by approximately $105 million through property, hotel and sales taxes as well as create 670 jobs for locals. The city has agreed on providing up to $9 million in sales and property tax rebates over a 15-year period once a certificate of occupancy has been issued.
Across US Route 290 lies another development called Manor Crossing which plans on including 600 rental units alongside 425,000 square feet worth commercial space when completed..
