Pickard Chilton Completes The Eight Office Tower in Bellevue
Architecture firm Pickard Chilton has announced the completion of The Eight, a 25-story office tower located at 10770 NE 8th Street in Bellevue, Washington. The 799,933-square-foot building was designed by Pickard Chilton in collaboration with developer Skanska Commercial Development.
The Eight marks the second collaboration between Pickard Chilton and Skanska, following the successful completion of the 2+U project in downtown Seattle in 2020.
The project team for The Eight included:
– Skanska USA, general contractor
– Adamson Associates, architect of record
– Magnusson Klemencic Associates, structural engineer
– Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, interior designer
“From day one, our goal on The Eight was to deliver more than just an office tower—we set out to create a dynamic, welcoming place that meets the flexibility, wellness, and sustainability needs of today’s top-tier tenants,” said Charlie Foushée, Executive Vice President and Regional Manager for Skanska USA Commercial Development’s Seattle Region.
The Eight is envisioned as a next-generation office environment that emphasizes tenant experience through adaptable design, wellness-oriented features, and environmentally conscious construction.
