The Phoenix City Council had a busy day earlier this week, approving three separate apartment developments consisting of 1,890 units. Two of the projects were downtown and zoning changes were approved to allow 155 new units at Central and Coolidge as well as 250-unit project a few blocks away. RAS Developments is leading the first project while Trinsic Residential is helming the second.

According to The Phoenix Business Journal, the third project was green-lighted for construction of 1,500 units at Central and Glenrosa with Petree Properties also including 25,000 square feet of retail space in their plans. This particular development will take ten years to build out in its entirety.

Furthermore another 15-acre parcel owned by Pivotal Group located at northeast corner of Central Avenue and Indian School Road has been scheduled for voting next week with an estimated 1,450 apartment units proposed onsite along with potential hotel accommodations or office spaces available too.
