Selig Development is preparing for the second phase of The Works, an 80-acre mixed-use development located on Atlanta’s Westside. With a $400 million investment in land owned by Selig for 75 years, the project will restore and repurpose several industrial buildings into more than 2 million square feet of commercial space.
Phase one of The Works is almost 90% leased with restaurants, retailers and offices occupying 27 acres that feature a food hall, 120,000 square feet of office space and 306 units at Westbound apartments which will begin leasing next month. Phase two occupies 53 acres from Chattahoochee Avenue to Collier Road currently occupied by warehouses.
The adaptive reuse projects transforming Atlanta’s Westside into a bustling office district have been successful due to investments such as The Works which has become an attractive residential and retail destination in the city.
