Construction has officially begun on a new 855,330-square-foot warehouse and distribution facility in Perris, located in Riverside County. The project is being developed by DECA, a San Francisco-based company. This will be the second phase of the Perris Gateway development, with construction already underway for a retail space along Ramona Expressway.
Travis Duncan, VP of development for Deca stated that they are excited to begin construction on this project and anticipate creating over 1,200 jobs during the construction process and over 800 permanent jobs once it is fully operational next summer.
To fund this massive warehouse facility project, DECA recently secured a $135-million loan from Affinius Capital and Bank OZK. The equity commitment came from both DECA’s principals as well as Wildcat Capital Management.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Andrew Starnes Phil Lombardo ,and Cruise Adams have been hired to lead leasing efforts for this new warehouse development which will feature impressive features such as 40-foot clear heights.
