**Patrick Shields Relocates to Boston to Strengthen JLL Capital Markets Team**
JLL Capital Markets has announced the relocation of Managing Director Patrick Shields from the firm’s Chicago office to Boston, where he will partner with fellow Managing Director Scott Carpenter. This strategic move is aimed at bolstering JLL’s commercial investment sales and advisory capabilities in the Boston market.
Shields, who joined JLL in 2019 through the acquisition of HFF, brings with him a robust track record. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in more than $10 billion in investment sales and advisory transactions, with a particular focus on office and life sciences assets. His work has earned him multiple accolades, including being named Investment Broker of the Year by the Greater Chicago Food Depository in 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2022. Additionally, he was part of the teams that received NAIOP’s Office Investment Transaction of the Year award in 2018, 2021, and 2023.
