Opus Group Names Matt Rauenhorst as President and CEO of Development Division
With nearly two decades of experience in real estate development, Matt Rauenhorst has been promoted to the position of president and CEO at Opus Development Company, L.L.C. In this role, he will oversee business development and provide leadership for the company’s nationwide development teams. Additionally, he will lead Opus’ capital markets group.
Since joining Opus in 2008, Rauenhorst has played a crucial role in the company’s success and has earned multiple promotions with increasing levels of responsibility. Most recently serving as executive vice president and general manager since 2019, he was responsible for operations in key Midwest markets such as Minneapolis, Chicago,
Des Moines,and Indianapolis.
Rauenhorst brings a wealth of experience developing various types of properties including industrial facilities,multifamily housing complexes,college student living communities,senior living residences,and office buildings across these regions.He is committed to creating jobs,fostering economic growth,and enhancing local communities through his work.Additionally,Raunenorst serves as board chair for the Opus Foundationand actively supports diversity,equity,and inclusion initiatives withinthe company.
