Vantage Data Centers, a leading global provider of hyperscale data center campuses, has recently initiated construction on a new data center campus in the outskirts of Columbus, Ohio.
With an investment exceeding $2 billion and the creation of over 1,500 jobs during both the construction phase and long-term operations of the campus, this project is set to make a significant impact. Situated on approximately 70 acres in New Albany, this state-of-the-art facility will offer an impressive IT capacity of 192MW spread across more than 1.5 million square feet.
The first building is projected to be completed by 2025 and will mark Vantage’s seventh North American market as part of their expanding hyperscale portfolio. “Our decision to invest in New Albany reflects our commitment to bolstering not only Ohio’s economy but also its reputation as a technology and innovation hub,” stated Dana Adams, President for North America at Vantage Data Centers. As such, we are excited about collaborating with central Ohio as we establish ourselves within this region.”
