Richard Buxbaum, the head of White Unicorn Investments, recently announced plans to build a mixed-use development on 77 acres just SE of the Tomball ISD football stadium. The land was purchased from Houston-based Parkside Capital in April.
The plan is to develop retail space with an anchor tenant and food service pads as well as multifamily and industrial spaces for sale. Vertical construction is expected to begin within 18 – 24 months after completing all infrastructure development.
This acquisition follows Buxbaum’s purchase of 55 acres from Parkside located at the northeast side intersection for an H-E-B anchored shopping center three years prior; tenants secured include Chick Fil A, Starbucks, Taco Bell and Whataburger while a daycare center bought another 2 acres nearby.
White Unicorn was founded by Buxbaum in 2015 with projects developed since then across Conroe, Telfair Pasadena The Woodlands and Cypress areas
