Newmark Launches Korean Operations with New Seoul Office
Newmark Group, Inc. has officially launched its Korean flagship office in Seoul, marking a strategic expansion into one of Asia’s most dynamic markets. The new location, situated in the IFC Complex in Yeouido, will serve as a hub for services across all industry verticals and asset classes.
Leadership for the Seoul operations is headed by John Pritchard, who has been appointed Managing Director and Country Head. Pritchard brings nearly 20 years of experience in the Korean commercial real estate market, having led some of the nation’s largest occupier transactions on behalf of global corporations.
Joining Pritchard is a multidisciplinary leadership team with backgrounds from leading multinational commercial real estate firms. The team includes:
– Karis Kim, Head of Retail, Tenant Representation
– Judy Jang, Head of Research
– Miji Kyung, Associate Director
– Sienna Ahn, Senior Manager, Tenant Representation
– Leadley Park, Senior Manager, Tenant Representation
– Chan Joung, Manager, Tenant Representation
Pritchard emphasized Korea’s strategic importance in the global economy, stating, “As the world’s 10th-largest economy and a global leader in industries such as technology, automotive, logistics, and finance, Korea represents a vital gateway for international occupiers and investors. With an accomplished leadership team already in place, we are establishing a presence that connects Korea’s most innovative enterprises to opportunities worldwide.”
