**Greystone Adds Senior Executives**
Greystone announced the addition of two seasoned executives to its Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) syndication platform, Greystone Real Estate Capital. Tara Neely joins as Director of Development Risk Management, and Matt Holmes comes on board as Vice President of Asset Management.
**New Hire at Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation**
Jacob Kahn has joined Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) in the Manhattan office. In his new position, he will focus on commercial debt and equity financing across all property types. Kahn will collaborate closely with Max Herzog and Marko Kazanjian, who transitioned from JLL to MMCC in 2023.
**Brixmor CEO Takes Medical Leave**
Brixmor Property Group Inc. announced that CEO James M. Taylor Jr. is on a temporary medical leave of absence. President and COO Brian T. Finnegan has been appointed interim CEO during Taylor’s absence.
**Gibson Dunn Expands Real Estate Team**
Gibson Dunn welcomed Frank J. Mangiatordi as a partner in its Real Estate Practice Group at the New York office. Mangiatordi brings a wide-ranging real estate practice, advising a diverse base of clients across transactions and financings.
**Leadership Change at Fourth Economy**
Fourth Economy, an economic and community development firm, announced Sally J. Guzik as its new president. Guzik joined the firm in 2021 as vice president and assumes leadership as the organization marks its 15th anniversary. Fourth Economy is a subsidiary of global consultancy Steer.
**LNL Capital Appoints Todd Stender**
LNL Capital announced the appointment of Todd Stender as Managing Director. He will support capital formation and investor relations. Previously, Stender served as Senior Director at Irvine Company and as Managing Director at Wells Fargo Securities, where he led net lease equity REIT research.
**Former U.S. Ambassador Joins Mavik Capital**
Timmy Davis, Former U.S. Ambassador to Qatar, has joined Mavik Capital Management as Senior Advisor. Davis brings a wealth of experience in geopolitics and capital markets to enhance the firm’s real estate credit investment strategies.
**Michael Zimmerman Joins Katz & Associates**
Michael Zimmerman has joined Katz & Associates as Senior Vice President of Investment Sales. He will lead a team focused on retail property transactions. Over his 20-plus-year career, Zimmerman has completed more than $1 billion in deals.
**Daylight Energy Secures $75M in Funding**
Daylight Energy, a decentralized energy company, announced $75 million in financing to expand its crypto-powered distributed energy network. This includes $15 million in equity funding led by Framework Ventures, with participation from a16z crypto, Coinbase Ventures, and others. The round also features a $60 million project development facility led by Turtle Hill Capital.
**Spectorgroup Selected for MidOcean Office Project**
Design firm Spectorgroup has been selected to design the new Manhattan offices of alternative asset manager MidOcean Partners. The 26,000-square-foot workspace will occupy the 10th floor of 31 W. 52nd Street, a Paramount Group-owned office tower.
**Montecito Medical Real Estate Taps Jackson Belcher**
Jackson Belcher has joined Montecito Medical Real Estate as Vice President of Transactions in Nashville, TN. He will manage healthcare real estate acquisitions, including medical office buildings and ambulatory surgery centers. Previously, Belcher was Vice President, Investments and Development at Hall Capital. The executive search was conducted by RETS Associates.
