Pickleball continues to gain popularity as a thrilling sport, with Social Pickleball Fun (SPF) leading the way. SPF has announced plans to open Chicago’s largest indoor pickleball facility and entertainment complex in Lincoln Park.

According to Crain’s, the 40,000-square-foot facility will feature eight indoor courts, an indoor turf field, locker rooms with saunas, and a coffee bar. In 2024, SPF also intends to add a full restaurant and bar for visitors’ enjoyment.

To provide unique food options that represent Chicago culture at its finest,
SPF has partnered with local favorites such as Honey Butter Fried Chicken,
Kikwetu Coffee,and Tom Carlin (former chef at Galit). The new location will be situated at 2121 N. Clybourn Avenue alongside other popular pickleball destinations like those recently announced by The Picklr.

“We are thrilled about welcoming this amazing community into our state-of-the-art facility,” said Richard Green of SPF.”Our goal is to offer individuals of all ages and skill levels an opportunity for active recreation while having fun and unwinding under one roof.”
