Chick-fil-A is expanding its presence in the Pacific Northwest by opening a second location in Puyallup, Washington. According to the Puget Sound Business Journal, the popular restaurant chain has submitted development permit requests to Pierce County in March.
The proposed 2,700-square-foot building will replace House of Kee, a family-owned Chinese restaurant. This drive-thru only site will be Chick-fil-A’s first of its kind in the South Sound region. The construction timeline and opening date have not been specified on the building permits.
In addition to Puyallup, Chick-fil-A is also planning new locations in Bellevue and Bremerton as part of their expansion strategy. Other chicken chains like Super Chix, Big Chicken Jollibee and Raising Cane’s have recently entered Puget Sound’s quick-serve restaurant market as well.
This latest development marks another milestone for Chick-fil-A as it continues to grow its brand across different regions without compromising on quality or customer service standards.
