Urban Air Adventure Park Opens Near the Heights
Urban Air Adventure Park has officially opened its doors near the Heights, joining a growing list of action entertainment venues in the area. The new 55,000-square-foot indoor trampoline and adventure park is located at 2737 Minimax Street, just off the Interstate 610 West Loop in the Lazybrook-Timbergrove neighborhood.
The massive facility offers a wide array of attractions designed for all ages. Highlights include 10 private party rooms, soft play areas for young children, a ball pit, obstacle courses, climbing walls, trampolines, an arcade, and a Sky Rider indoor zipline. One of the park’s standout features is a two-level go-kart track, which occupies nearly 80% of the total space.
Urban Air is continuing its expansion across the Greater Houston area, with a new location planned in Rosenberg, located about 35 miles southwest of Houston in Fort Bend County. Construction on the Rosenberg site is slated to begin in October, with an anticipated completion date in March.
The opening comes amid a surge of similar adventure-themed attractions launching in Houston. Other entrants in the market include Cosmic Air Adventure Park, Lumos, Round 1, and Score Entertainment, all aiming to capture the attention of thrill-seekers and families in the region.
Urban Air’s growth reflects the increasing demand for indoor recreational experiences, offering a blend of high-energy activities and family-friendly entertainment.
