Crescent Communities, the developer of One Independence Center in Charlotte, is set to open Monarch Market food court this week. The 18,000-square-foot space will feature seven food vendors on opening day and has room for two more. Along with a variety of cuisines such as Tex-Mex and burgers, there will also be two bars – Aster Cocktail Room and Lanai Terrace Bar. Hospitality HG will manage the operations at Monarch Market.
The architecture and interiors of Monarch Market were designed by Eimer Design while JE Dunn served as the general contractor. Nuveen Real Estate was an equity partner for this $18 million project which was financed by PNC Bank, U.S Bank and First National Bank of Pennsylvania.
The debut of this new food court is highly anticipated among locals due to its diverse offerings that cater to all tastes. With top-notch partners involved in its development, it’s sure to become a popular spot in Charlotte’s dining scene.
