KDM Development has received approval from the Town of Garner, located just south of Raleigh, to rezone and construct a mixed-use development. The project, known as Swift Creek, will consist of 613 multifamily units and 22,500 square feet of retail space on Fayetteville Road. According to reports from the Raleigh Business Journal, KDM plans to begin construction on this $150 million project by the end of this year and expects it to be completed within three years.

The development will feature a variety of one to three-bedroom apartments spread across 12 four-story buildings with an average size around 1,000 square feet. Rent prices are estimated at $1,500 for smaller one-bedroom units up to $2
