McNeill Commercial Real Estate is making significant progress on three primarily residential developments at Silo Square in Southhaven, located just across the southern border of Tennessee near Memphis. The Provost, a W-shaped, three-story building inspired by Thornwood’s design, will offer 92 loft units and two retail bays totaling 6,676 square feet. Additionally, there will be 26 townhomes along the southwest corner of the development that are expected to break ground in February.
The Hylander consists of twin four-story buildings connected by a pedestrian sky bridge and is set to begin construction after The Provost’s completion this spring. This project will feature 162 lofts with some offering outdoor balconies as well as ground-floor commercial spaces for restaurants and offices with garage parking available.
According to reports from the Memphis Business Journal , plans for DeSoto District are still in their early stages but may include more loft units along with commercial spaces for restaurants and offices as well as retail options.
