St. Paul’s LS Black Development is currently working on the Preserve at Mustang Creek, a new project in Round Rock with an estimated cost of $88 million. The architect for this three-story, family-friendly garden-style development is Merriman Anderson Architects.

The 252-unit community will feature a variety of amenities such as a clubroom, indoor play space, outdoor playground, resort-style pool with grill stations and both garages and covered parking options. In addition to these features, the project will also include a large solar carport that will offset up to 100% of common electricity usage.

Designed with affordability in mind for households earning between 30% to 60% of the area’s median income range; The Preserve at Mustang Creek offers one to four-bedroom units along with Type A Accessible Units equipped specifically for residents who have hearing or visual impairments.

To help make this development possible; Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs provided public financing assistance while private financial partners also contributed towards its completion.

Cadence McShane Construction has been selected as the general contractor for this project which is set to begin construction later this month and expected completion date by September 2025.
