KPR Centers, a New York-based company, recently acquired an eight-property retail portfolio for $180 million. This strategic move has expanded their presence in the Midwest region and includes properties in Milwaukee and St. Louis as well as Florida. The portfolio boasts a 96% occupancy rate with over 1.5 million square feet of space, featuring popular tenants such as Dick’s Sporting Goods and The Fresh Market.
Among the Midwest properties are Nagawaukee Center in Delafield spanning 220,083 square feet and West Allis Towne Center which consists of four buildings totaling 326,223 square feet. Other notable retail centers included in this acquisition are Deer Creek Shopping Center (208,112 sq ft) located in St.Louis and Central Plaza (163,625 sq ft) situated in Ballwin.
This transaction marks KPR Centers’ successful expansion into the Midwest market through its purchase of these high-performing shopping centers.
