Midtown Capital Plans 249-Unit Apartment Development in Fort Lauderdale

Midtown Capital Partners is seeking approval to develop a 12-story apartment complex in Fort Lauderdale’s Progresso neighborhood. The proposed project is located on 1.3 acres at 4 N.W. 7th Street, adjacent to the FEC Railway. The site was acquired by the firm in 2022 for $9.42 million, according to the South Florida Business Journal.

The development, known as Astor Progresso Village, is designed to include 249 residential units spanning a total of 309,314 square feet. The plans also feature 1,665 square feet of retail space and a parking structure with 308 spaces.

Residential offerings will range in size from 407 to 1,267 square feet and include 180 studio apartments, 30 one-bedroom units, and 39 two-bedroom units.

An amenity-rich fourth-floor deck is planned, featuring a swimming pool, pickleball court, yoga lawn, barbecue area, and a gym. Additional amenities include a coworking lounge located in the building’s lobby.

Midtown Capital Partners currently manages a diversified portfolio comprising over 3 million square feet of leasable space across industrial, multifamily, retail, and office sectors.
