Mid-America Real Estate Brokers Sale of Summit Fair Retail Plaza Near Kansas City
Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales Group has announced the successful sale of Summit Fair, a prominent retail and dining destination located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, serving the southeastern suburbs of Kansas City.
The sale was brokered by Mid-America Real Estate Corporation Principals Ben Wineman and Joe Girardi, who served as exclusive listing representatives for the seller, Phoenix-based RED Development. David Block and Zach Albrecht of Block & Company represented the buyer, a private investment group.
Summit Fair is an institutional-quality, open-air town center totaling 241,923 square feet. The property features a strong and diverse tenant mix, anchored by major retailers such as Dick’s Sporting Goods, DSW, and H&M. It is also shadow-anchored by JCPenney and Furniture Mall of Missouri.
The center hosts a variety of well-known inline tenants including Ancho & Agave, Beauty Brands, Buckle, CraftPutt, Kay Jewelers, Lululemon, McAlister’s Deli, Orangetheory Fitness, Pure Barre, Sephora, Tropical Smoothie Café, Victoria’s Secret, and Visionworks.
Originally developed between 2009 and 2017, Summit Fair remains one of the newest and most vibrant retail hubs within the Lee’s Summit trade area.
