**Meyers Group Secures $45M Loan for New Fort Lauderdale Apartment Development**

Meyers Group has secured a $45 million construction loan to kickstart the development of a 200-unit apartment complex in the Cypress Creek area of Fort Lauderdale. The eight-story project, named Avery Cypress Creek, will rise on a 2.2-acre vacant property located at 6210 N. Andrews Avenue. The site was acquired by Meyers Group for $8 million in October 2025, following the initial submission of development plans in 2022.

According to the South Florida Business Journal, Avery Cypress Creek has been approved for 200 residential units along with 5,000 square feet of commercial space. Planned amenities for the development include a fitness center, swimming pool, and a landscaped courtyard.

Strategically situated near Interstate 95 and the Cypress Creek Tri-Rail Station, the location offers excellent accessibility and is surrounded by office properties. The area is also undergoing a transformation, with the city’s Uptown zoning initiative encouraging more multifamily housing developments like this one.
