Menashe Properties Acquires 125 S. Wacker Drive in Chicago’s West Loop
Menashe Properties, a privately held, family-owned commercial real estate investment firm based in Portland, has expanded its presence in Chicago with the acquisition of 125 S. Wacker Drive. The 31-story, 640,000-square-foot office tower is situated in Chicago’s financial district and boasts LEED Gold and WiredScore Platinum certifications.
This transaction marks Menashe Properties’ second major office investment in Chicago since 2023, further signaling the firm’s strategic expansion into key urban markets. The acquisition highlights the company’s focus on securing well-positioned assets in prime locations.
To bolster the property’s operations and leasing potential, Menashe Properties will extend its collaboration with Stream Realty Partners. Stream will assume property management responsibilities for 125 S. Wacker Drive. Managing Director Mark Bâby and Executive Vice President Ben Cleveland will lead leasing efforts, while Victoria Knudson, Partner and Leader of Property Management, will oversee building operations on-site.
