Camping is a rapidly growing industry in Alabama, with plans for a $30 million campsite at Logan Martin Lake. DLP Capital Holdings LLC, based in Florida, has proposed the development of an RV campsite and waterfront rental properties near Lincoln’s Landing fishing tournament and picnic area. This 38-acre site is currently being developed and will soon be the largest public access point on Logan Martin Lake.

The project aims to create over 350 lots, structures for short-term rentals, as well as community amenities such as a pool and amphitheater. This development is expected to drive retail and commercial growth in Lincoln while also generating significant tax revenue for the city. It will also provide job opportunities for local residents.

In addition to these benefits, the developer may receive certain tax incentives from Lincoln City Council along with waived utility fees for installing new water and sewer services to serve the lots. With this exciting project underway at Logan Martin Lake, it’s clear that camping is becoming big business in Alabama.
