The Simon | Anderson Multifamily Team at Kidder Mathews has successfully executed a major multifamily portfolio transaction on behalf of longtime client John Stephanus. The deal involved the sale of four legacy properties in the Seattle area and the subsequent acquisition of The Postmark Apartments, a newly constructed 243-unit residential community in Shoreline, Washington.

Brokers Dylan Simon, Jerrid Anderson, Matt Laird, and JD Fuller represented Stephanus in the purchase of The Postmark. The acquisition was made possible with the proceeds from the sale of four long-held, vintage multifamily assets — part of a strategic repositioning plan to transition from aging properties into modern, high-demand housing with improved amenities and location advantages.

Completed in 2020, The Postmark Apartments feature a variety of high-end studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. The community is located in Shoreline’s North City neighborhood and is characterized by its modern design and walkable access to retail and public transportation. The property is strategically situated near the future North/185th Street light rail station, offering residents direct connectivity to downtown Seattle and major employment hubs across the region.
