**Keating Resources Acquires Former Waco Glass Plant for Redevelopment**
Keating Resources has acquired a 1,060,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility situated on 56 acres along Interstate 35 in Waco, Texas. The property was formerly owned by Owens-Illinois, which operated a glass plant at the location from 1943 until its closure in 2023.
Alec Keating, President of Keating Resources, announced that the company is repositioning approximately 907,000 square feet of the facility’s distribution space for lease or potential sale. The building is being marketed as a multi-tenant distribution and manufacturing facility, ideally divisible into 100,000-square-foot units to align with current market demand.
According to Keating, the facility offers a range of unique features, including clear ceiling heights ranging from 24 to 33 feet, 20 acres of outdoor storage, two active rail spurs, high-volume natural gas service, and high-capacity electrical infrastructure. Its central location within the Texas Triangle—recognized as the fastest-growing megaregion in the country—provides tenants with strategic access to major markets across the state.
Josh Heiple of CBRE represented the seller, while Jordan Beard of Cromwell Commercial represented Keating Resources in the transaction.
