JLL Capital Markets has successfully arranged an $82.46-million refinancing for the Sunroad Centrum Office Tower in San Diego’s Kearney Mesa submarket. The 11-story, Class A office building spans 274,758 square feet and is located at 8620 Spectrum Center Blvd.
Led by senior managing directors Aldon Cole and Tim Wright, along with VP Bharat Madan, the JLL Debt Advisory team worked on behalf of borrower Sunroad Enterprises to secure a five-year fixed-rate senior loan through Goldman Sachs.
Originally constructed in 2008 and previously fully occupied by Bridgepoint Education until their lease expired in 2020, Sunroad Centrum Office Tower underwent a $30 million re-tenanting project before closing. It is now fully leased once again.
According to Dan Feldman, president of Sunroad Enterprises: “The successful full occupancy and refinancing of this building speaks volumes about its prime location, top-notch amenities, and collaborative efforts from our brokers,d esigners, and architects as well as our capital markets team.” He also noted that partnering with Goldman Sachs further highlights the strength of both tenant roll and ownership at this property.
