**Jackson Dearborn Secures $43M Refinance for 169-Unit Colorado Springs Development**

Dwight Mortgage Trust, the affiliate real estate investment trust of Dwight Capital, has successfully closed a $43 million refinancing deal on behalf of Jackson Dearborn Partners for The Avian, a brand-new, 169-unit luxury apartment community situated at 217 S. Weber Street in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The Avian offers upscale amenities including a parking garage, resort-style swimming pool, a spacious fitness center, and work-from-home lounges, catering to modern lifestyle needs. Positioned in the heart of downtown, the property provides residents with walkable access to a variety of dining, shopping, public transportation options, and major employment hubs.

Unit rents range from $1,475 to $3,510, with apartment sizes spanning from 572 to 1,233 square feet.

Dwight Mortgage Trust closed the financing upon issuance of the initial Temporary Certificate of Occupancy. The loan proceeds were used to refinance the development’s construction loan and cover transaction-related expenses. The deal was originated by Dwight Capital’s Brandon Baksh and Talisse Thompson on behalf of the sponsor, Jackson Dearborn Partners.
