**Sage Investment Group to Transform Issaquah Motel 6 into Workforce Housing**
Sage Investment Group has acquired a Motel 6 property in Issaquah and plans to convert its 103 hotel rooms into 103 studio rental apartments. The purchase price for the property was $9.7 million.
Located at 1885 15th Place NW, the property will undergo a full renovation. Each unit will be remodeled to include kitchen spaces, while additional upgrades will be made to the amenity areas. Planned improvements include an onsite laundry facility, a club room, an outdoor patio area, and a new leasing office. Construction is scheduled to begin in summer 2026.
Issaquah’s housing market is characterized by a high cost of living, low vacancy rates, and limited incoming supply, making it a strategic location for this adaptive reuse project. The site also benefits from its proximity—just half a mile—to Costco’s corporate headquarters, which employs approximately 2,100 people.
Sage Investment Group focuses exclusively on adaptive reuse projects aimed at creating attainable housing. This latest acquisition follows their September purchase of a 39,600-square-foot Econo Lodge in Everett for $9.5 million, which is being converted into 124 studio apartments.
